I agree that we should be able to give a response. However, we must remember that this was an interview. It is my opinion that as a journalist she was attempting to give him a chance to confirm or deny the rumors. That does not in any way negate her responsibilities as a believer, but we must consider the context of their conversation. Additionally, if we consider the fact that this man is by no means ignorant to the gospel and what it says, we have to again reference Romans 1:21-28 (specifically the reprobate mind). More than anything this should serve as a warning to anyone straddling the fence. Your opinion is valuable and I thank you for opening this dialogue. I pray that it will a blessing to others in the future. Please continue to visit us at SOTF:)

Yes I agree. But, please note that I said in addition to prayer was the need to prepare ourselves to give an answer... which I do not believe was accomplished in these segments. Now..., though I do agree with you that we cannot know the heart of a man, I also know that the goal of any good communication is to either inform or persuade your listener/viewer to act, what better example of this than the Gospel, right:) Speaking for myself, I just don't believe either was accomplished effectively here. Instead, the takeaway for me was the dispelling of a rumor in the Christian community, and lost was an opportunity to witness to a fallen brother, believers who are caught in the same lifestyle, and non-believers that may come across this post (seeing that this post will live on in internet time and eternity...). No harm, no foul, and most definitely an opinion shared in love:)

We cannot be sure of the intentions of the interviewer. However, we can view this as an example of apostasy, or falling away from the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:3). He once believed and has chosen to deny the truth of God. It is rebellion, so we must pray for Him as well as those folowing him.

Based on his responses, one can deduce that he has embraced gay theology which tauts that God's "real" anger in Sodom and Gomorrah was directed at the promiscuity prevalent in the city, and not the homosexual behavior itself. After seeing this interview I am really saddened by the fact that; 1) this young man who obviously has a large following has allowed him self to intellectualize his own sin, and 2) the interviewer knowing her questions beforehand, did not better prepare herself to engage in what is a obviously a battle for his mind and soul. As God's people not only do we need to pray, but we also need to study to show ourselves approved. At the end of the day, the outcome of the this interview served what purpose? The dispelling of rumor? An opportunity to advance heresy?

Thank you so much for this article. So many women are going bald due to chemicals in the hair which have caused the hair to tangle and break.

There are many women who have scalps that are just as/if not worse than the pictures above and then they use hair glues to add hair extensions or hair weaves.

It really is an international epidemic amoung women of color. We deal with hair restoration calls daily. Please let us know how we can support your blog.

hi there i just found your site and just want to ask advice...i do not attend church or anything because of the society i live amongst but i am a strong beleiver in my heart and talk to god often.... i just need to know how you keep your faith so strong and have the strength to beleive in him...as i turn to him often but i heard such a story today regarding a 4 week old it was horrific and other horrid facts of other children which had me in tears and so upset...and has me questioning is there a god? I know in my heart there is and feel guilty for asking its just these things are so so so evil. please help stay strong and positive.

This was a powerful piece of work written by a true Sister in Christ. The funny thing is you never know the true struggles that people are enduring in their everyday life, all you can do is smile, speak a word of encouragement, or lend an ear when needed.
